Status: offline 		This afternoon I purchased the download version of Grigsby's War in the East from the Matrix site. I reached the last page, got my activation code, pressed the "click to download" link. The download started and I waited the half hour or so as it crept closer to 100%. I think I selected "run" rather than "save" when the download started.

In any case, I was not watching exactly when the download completed. When it did I got no messages. No installation program started. I have no idea what the name of the file was and I have searched under various names and in the usual places to try to find it. I cannot.

The Matrix support site has two topics that I thought would be helpful to me. One on "where do I find my download" basically says that I should pay attention to its name and where I saved it to. Obviously that was completely unhelpful. The other on "how do I redownload" says something about "the new store supports unlimited downloads" but I have no idea how to get to the download button without buying the game a second time.

I've emailed plimus, which I learned after-the-fact was the company that arranged the purchase, but I have no idea when they will respond. In the meantime, I would like to start to play the game I have already purchased.

So, does anyone have advice on 1) how to find the file that I presume is somewhere on my hard drive, and or 2) how to redownload this game without waiting for customer support to get around to answering my email?

Status: offline 		Well, I solved the problem after hours of looking. Someone else had had a similar issue on a different game and I was able to find the plimus support site. Plugging in my order number made it possible to redownload the game, and it is working.

It was odd, though, that the game I downloaded was 1.00 and required that I immediately patch it. One would think that they could update their own game files to save people the trouble of patching.
