Okay, I purchased this game the day it was released. And with good reason. Firstly, it received great reviews by just about everyone, and seemed that it would satisfy my need for a Grand Strategic game that was more or less open ended in its play style. It seemed as though it was difficult enough to provide a challenge, but not so much so that the engine was overly cumbersome. It strikes a good balance between micro-managing resources, and ease of use. So, initially I enjoyed the game, but thought that it suffered from a lack of polish. Little things like spelling, and grammatical errors really got under my skin. I know that not everyone cares about little things like that, but every time I saw the word "dammage" or "capitol" spelled incorrectly I couldn't help but look and say... "Really!?"

So I walked away from it...reluctantly. And it was the only Matrix game that has ever come off my PC. However, I stumbled over a post on creating a SFT Type from scratch; and it seemed to indicate that you could edit the descriptions of just about everything in the game. So I dove into the editor, which isn't necessarily intuitive the first few times you try to navigate through it. And behold, with a small amount of work, I was able to rid the game of just about everything that annoyed me. Combined with the work Vic has done with the recent patches, this game has instantly catapulted to the upper echelon of my favorite gaming experiences.

So thanks Vic for all of your hard work. I'm glad I stuck with it, because this truly is a great game.

Regards,
MJ

Absolutely, bring it public, I'm sure many would appreciate your work.
