Why does the list go back to the top when adding aircraft in the SE?

Status: offline 		This kiils me especially when I am creating larger scenarios. I have say three carriers plus escorts and it takes a long time to complete because everytime I add an aircraft, the list goes to the top and I have to scroll down to get back to US aircraft! In past editions, this did not do this! Does anyone know why this has changed in HCE? I've been playing steadily since 1997 and this change in the Scenario Editor takes some fun out of creating larger scenarios.

Status: offline 		As long as I'm on a roll today, , why does the SE vary in its order when looking at bases. If you look at ships, subs or aircraft, they are sorted by country first and then by name. However, with bases, it is the name first. Why the difference? I think it would be good to group them all by country first so that when you wanted to look through bases available in a certain country, you can see that first.
Just my thoughts for whatever they are worth!!

For the second both lists are sorted by country but country doesn't display in the left-most position of the Installations listing. The country name was added 'recently' to the ship, sub, plane listing but has been a part of the Installation listing much longer. To me it made sense to list country first on those listings but there was no compelling reason to change the already functional installations listing.

For both of your questions I would suggest turning them into wishes at HarpGamer, http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?showforum=35 in hopes of having them redone more to your liking at some point in the future.

I raised the same issue back in August 2009. Many in the forum chimed in and agreed with your issue that the list should not scroll to the top. The final reply at that time was that it would be fixed as of build 2009.043. Apparently it slipped through the crack.

Status: offline 		As a workaround for the first issue, I have found that for the second and subsequent groups of aircraft being added to a base, if I highlight the first group of aircraft added, the list stays in place. So, open up the base, scroll down to first a/c type, add it. List returns to top. Click to highlight first group of a/c in base. Scroll down list of available types to next a/c type, add it. List remains in place, does not return to top. Continue as needed, list remains in place as long as first group is highlighted. It helps a little ...
