I gave a breakdown of some of this in antoher thread, and thought I'd start this one as complete what I know.

MCS

1 capacity point = 1 base supply point or 1 base fuel point
20 capacity points = one fighter, dive bomber, or torpedo bomber
40 capacity points - one tac bomber or transport aircraft

AP/APD/APA

1 capacity point = 1 base supply point
1 capacity point = 1 LCU size point

AV

1 capacity point = 1 fighter, dive bomber, or torpedo bomber

AVs will load only 1 tac bomber of an airgroup.

1 capacity point = 1 supply point at a base. (Note: This isn't consistent with the aircraft capacity rating. To be consistnent, it would be 20 supply points.)

1 capacity point = 5 LCU size points (Note: This isn't consistent with the aircraft capacity rating. To be consistent, it would be 20 LCU size points.)

CVE

1 capacity point = 1 combat operable aircraft, 2 replenishment or transported aircraft.

TK/AO

1 capacity point = one base fuel point.

IJN DDs and cruisers with capacity ratings

1 capacity point = 1 base supply point or 1 LCU size point

A group of MCS (X4) ,the MCS capacity is 100 ,so it's total 400 capacity in this Group MCS.Is it Right?

Correct.

So assume you want to move a USMC F4F group, 24 aircraft.

You need 24 x 20 = 480 cargo points, divided by 100 per MCS = 4.8 MCS. Size the group to five.

MCS will load what are essentially partial aircraft. For example, a 100 capacity MCS holds 2.5 tac bombers at 40 points each.

On an AV, you have Langley (if saved from the Phillipines) capacity 30 (in aircraft) so the group fits there.

The other AVs, capacity 15, you need two. You have to load both on consecutive clicks. Do not exit out of the screen. Click one AV then the other while on load airgroup function.

On a CVE, capacity is probably 27 but for transporting airgroups its 2 x capacity, so the CVE will hold 54. Wasted space. So use CVEs for USAAF fighter groups which have 48 aircraft.

Funny -- I seem to remember that there is a class of aircraft that takes 30 points per airframe, but I admit I can't find it in the manual.
