just giving everybody some info on whats going on...

I just started internal testing with the first patch... hope to get it in matrix private testing this week and if all goes well to everybody as public beta next week.

2 major things that i am adressing in the patch is (1) the recon bug and (2) i am hoping to half loading time by replacing a lot of 64-sprite based landscapes by spritesheet landscapes.

i'll keep you all posted!

first patches to ATG will be oriented toward bug-fixes, later patches will orient more to actual improvements.

Patch v1.01 is in public beta and so far seems to be doing good....

i am giving it a little more time to be sure no new bugs have been introduced before making it official.

in the meantime i am working on patch v1.02, i hope to get that patch in private testing end of comming week and to public beta status soon after. i'll keep you all posted!

patch v1.02 has just been posted on private VR designs internal testing forum..

will get it to matrix internal testing soon and then on to public beta asap.

working on public patch v1.03 at the moment. hope to get it out within a week.

among some bug fixes it will also include the addition of a new troop type: Cavalry

ok... we still found some bugs in v2.04 so i'll fix those with a public beta v2.05.. i hope to complete that one shortly.. there is just one issue left outstanding in the support forum with a report of the surrender bug still being in there in v2.04. but i could not reproduce.. if anybody can with v2.04 please report how you did it.

anywho, i hope to catch that one as well and then get public beta up asap.

i hope v2.05 will be stable and can then be used for a release patch.

Bug still there apparently.

I ran the following tests using v2.04:

1 human vs 1 AI - played three turns and then surrendered - no issue

1 human vs 1 human - played two turns and then surrendered - crash

I emailed you a 4 human player v2.04 game. If you play my turn and surrender, the game crashes.

Just a quick message about upcomming versions. I hope that v2.05 will become the new gold version soon. (hope next week somewhere)

After that v2.06 is planned to go into public beta.

Just uploaded v2.06 to matrix. hopefully we'll have a chance to get the installer setup the upcomming week.

v2.06 is not very impressive but it adds ability to play random games without resources and fixes some small bugs and adds new airfield crowding rules (that have been very long in discussion).

I just uploaded minor patch v2.07 earlier then expected to Matrix. It will come your way probably soon.
There was still a major issue with prevent rules. (only used by halftrack) This patch will fix this.

Locked my self for a few weeks in wooden cabin in the forest ;) Working on DC2.

Dont expect any upgrades for ATG in the meantime.

However when i am back in office late august i'll defenitely release a v2.08 to fix the last issues with the beta patches (v2.06/v2.07) after gold version v2.05.

As well as continue ATG academy. I think by the time of AT Platinum i'll have handled all subformation types ;)

Working hard on DC2 still.... the Eastern Front is a hard nut to crack!

also just mailed v2.09 beta patch to matrix. just a number of bug fixes, but still....

and finished the first season of ATG college :) booklet expected end of october.
