[CV32]

The HCDB is an acronym for what is now known as the Harpoon Commander's Edition Database, the official database that ships with Larry Bond's Harpoon Commander's Edition (HCE) and the HCE component of Larry Bond's Harpoon Ultimate Edition.

A new version of the official Harpoon Commander's Edition (HCE) Database (HCDB-110201) is now available.

Get the new DB in the Downloads section of the HarpGamer website.

This release of the HCDB is dedicated to the memory of Darren John Buckley (aka Bucks on the Matrix forums), a long time and honoured member of the Harpoon community. RIP Darren.

This is so sad news I found on harpgamer some hours back.
I did not know Darren personally or electronically, but as a long time on-and-off Harpoon addict of course I know and honor his role in the development of Harpoon, his dedication to bringing the DBs he was responsible for to us humble players over years, decades.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, especially with those members of the Harpoon community that worked with him over so long a time and who have lost a friend today.
A sad day indeed.
