Haha :)

:D

Dave deserves this for this masterpiece of an engine he has been building for 15 years.

Congratulations! (though I am not surprised!)

Conquest of the Aegean, his previous game, actually won the same award back in 2006, so it's not as if it took the grumpy grogs over there 15 years to recognize this amazing engine

Way to go, Dave & Paul!

I am thinking about getting an iPad this Spring. So, time to start porting.

Or buy one of the new Windows 7 tablets from Dell, HP, Acer, Asus and other manufacturers who are busy jumping into this market

I'm keeping track of new development through this site : http://www.tabletpcreview.com/

Indeed, now that Microsoft have shown the next release of Windows (8) running on ARM chips a decent OS (:)) for tablet is tantalisingly near.

I dunno. I'm fascinated by new technology, including tablets.

But these old eyes and slower reaction time may not marry up to a touch keyboard and 7-11 inch screen.

For wargaming, I want a full size keyboard, mouse, and 20+ inch display.

BTW, IMHO...great game deserving of the award!
