I'm thinking of buying John Tiller's Campaign Series. I've played his Civil War games (Gettysburg, Bull Run, etc). They were very well made but I found it tedious because of all the mouse clicking for each turn. Does anyone know if the Campaign Series is made the same way? Thanks for your help.

Interface of John Tiller games are somewhat the same.
It all depends on the size of the battle.

JTCS is a fantastic Tiller game. I got bored of his Battleground series of games fast but JTCS has stood the test of time. I would say it's more enjoyable. The game has plenty of smaller and medium sized scenarios, and has plenty of editors, campaigns and a battle generator with varied sized battles. Like Jomni said, I think indeed playing any Tiller game in a large scenario is tedious.

Agreed, good games but takes some clicking. But, have you seen Blitzkreig: Warsaw to Paris? Holy moly, same thing. I imagine Gary Grigsbys War in the East is the same.

Don't even get me started about WitP:AE. I have to turn the clicking volume down otherwise I would go mad.
