Dec. 23 - Feeling a bit sentimental, I watched the old classic, 1947's Miracle on 34th Street. Great family entertainment.

Dec. 24 - In tribute to warriors past, I watched Joyeux Noel, the 2005 French film depicting the 1914 "Christmas Truce" between the Germans, French and Scottish soldiers in the same part of the line.

Dec. 25 - Tonight, after spending all day with my relatives, it's going to be Die Hard.

Merry Christmas and Yipikaye!

Good picks Slick! My wife and I will watch "A Christmas Carol" tonight. We like the 1951 version with Alastair Sim as Scrooge. This version is the most faithful too the Dickens story. Enjoy!

For me its's :

A Christmas Story: about the Red Ryder BB gun the kid wants

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

And the old faithful It's a Wonderful Life (just wouldn't be Christmas without it)

Watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation the other day
Watched Elf last night
And watched White Christmas this morning

That's Christmas done - well and truly stuffed! Thoughts to to people less fortunate

ROFL!

For me it's been the Apollo 8 DVD set, which includes their Christmas Eve '68 greetings while in the Moon's orbit.

In the spirit of the original post, I've just finished adding Marathon Man to my Xmas viewing pleasure. "Is it safe?"
