I have recently bought th game and I was little disappointed with ugly generic unit portrays. It is so disturbing to see (for example) comix-like Austrian Infantryman every time I wish to see statistics of my Prussian inf unit, that I definitely want to change it.

I saw, that many portrays were reworked, but they are spread in this forum on many places. Is there some thread, where all unit-graphics are merged? I can see first 8 Pr. Regiments and many Saxon units (not downloaded yet) in two threads - excellent work btw. Does Austrian Regiments exist? And leader portrays? (I hate to see FriedrichII as every Army Commander). Or improvement of "generic" portrays (I would be happy to see picture of Prussian generic infantry on every Pr. infantry Unit and Generic Austrian on Aus ones, the same with cavalry...)

Everything in this game can be reworked by yourself. Just open editor and select one on the unit and see their "graphic setup"or Templates And Description". There can change add remove ect. graphic of unit. Try yourself;)

Did you try PBEM? Our League waiting for new players :)

I noticed your league. Thanks for inviting, but I try single player first to learn game mechanics:) After few plays, it would be great to try PBEM (I play PBEM games from HPS)

Bivoj - that is slavic name? What kind of nationality would you like to play in future?
2nd Click unit then edit.
Click "Graphic Setup"
ON the down of the window found "Unit Portrait" click [....] then find th tga file which you want to put in the place old one ex. C:\Matrix Games\Horse and Musket Volume I\SupportFiles\UnitPropertiesScreen or whatever place you download and unzip Uffz tga file or other you can make yourself then save.

So, I must change every portrait of every single unit in every scenario:( That is too much work for me...

Pity, that Austrians and Prussians do not have different portraits - I changed the vanilla generic one for picture of Pr. IR1 (done by Uffz), but Austrians have the same picture also...

I am Czech, I live in Prague, but I play only Prussians (in Napoleonic wargames, I play Russians also, since my wife is Russian). I am big fan of Prussian history since Kingdom of Prussia was established in 1700 until Prussian definitive fall in 1945. So, if you are looking for someone to play coalition forces, I must say I'd definitely prefer Prussia or Hanover...
