Status: offline 		The Server contract was cancelled, but they shut down the server earlier than expected. I have a save of the database, so nothing should be lost. As I'm in the states now, I will hardly have the chance to set it up again before I return to Germany in mid-september. Also, I've forgotten the password, though this will be a variation of my usual passwords and shall be retrievable...
So it will hopefully come back online in mid to late september.

Thats good news Historiker. I ccan live without for a few weeks but it would have been a pity if all were lost.

Were are you going to in the US? Drop me a note in case you're visiting the west coast.

Yes, I moved to California a few weeks ago. So far I noticed a liberty class ship and the USS Pampanito submarine in San Francisco. But I haven't visited either of them.

I can get any domain, webspace for free if someone is willing to do the rest because I know squat about designing.

If anyone is interested in restarting the project I'd be happy to get it hosted, and we can make it a community project or something, including all the mods and art graphics etc.

Status: offline 		I'd PM Historiker, it seems that he was responsible for the previous incarnation. One big centralized resource for scenarios/Art Mods/.... would be great though. I'll gladly volunteer for some work on the wiki and tracking down/organizing mods, but my knowledge of web design is too limited to be of any real use. Some very basic HTML once upon a time, but nothing more.

The HDD with the backups on it is wrecked, the server with another set of backups was crashed a week ago. I have no Idea whether I can retrieve the files or not, so the technical department of the hosting company is working on it. I will have further informations in a few days...

If you are able to retrieve the data, do you need any support in getting it online?

I offered free web domain and space to have it hosted, I assume without him emailing me he's able to get it online or attempting too.

I also considered if it will in fact be hosted, I would host everyones AE page for free also. I mean for example if someone has a page they'd like hosted for a mod or something, the idea being at least I know everyone can get access to one page rather then hunt for them.
