This will be a campaign of the oceanic powers against the landmass powers. It is expected that the Axis and Comintern will go to war at some point, but the human controlled nations of the West will seek ultimate victory.

Poland and France are both rather active, and the Germans are fighting on both fronts.

Poland has surrendered after Warsaw fell to a seige. The KM seems to have been defeated at sea.

The winter has seen a lot of air combat. The RAF has a 130-18 ratio in its favor. The strategic bombers have taken losses, but have continued to attack, and have badly hurt the Germans. On the diplomatic front Portugal is being wooed by the Allies, and Norway is leaning to the West.

The Germans have attacked in the West. Portugal joins the Allies and her fleet heads for the Mediterrean. Germany declares war on Norway, but she is prepared, and coordinates her war effort with the West.

Much has happened. The maps shown this week reveal the agony of the British in the south of France. The mech corps was destroyed, but the two infantry corps were repatriated to England with the establishment of the Vichy State. The British in Cagliari remained there, despite Sardinia reverting to Italian control. This is a very weird situation, but the RN plans to fix it. Tripoli also reverted to Italian control, but British troops are advancing from Sirt to retake it. Everything gets very complicated when France accepts the armisitice.

Finland is also at peace with the Soviets after a hard campaign which saw nearly the whole country taken.

Spies in Lisbon, and there are a lot of them, report very heavy British transport unloading at the docks.

The Germans seem to be heading East, rather than invading the British Isles.

British troops invade Sardinia, and press on Tripoli. Activity continues in Portugal.

It seems the Axis is not willing to allow us the Mediterranean without a battle.

The quiet in Greece is ominous. The non-beligerency of Bulgaria makes defense easier, and the Greeks and British prepare.

Spain declined the German offer of alliance, perhaps looking at the British power in Portugal.

Very slow going in Greece. We are not much worried by the new DAK unit.

The Soviets and Germans are at war! Who attacked whom is unknown, but both sides have drives pushing the other back. The Soviets seem to be pushing hard in the north, and the Germans in the south.

The Germans have the upper hand in the East while the Red Army is weak. They are pushing forward, especially in the south.

The RAF is getting beaten up in England, and we suspect the Germans have improved their technology. We have brought all fighters up to full complements to make the fight more even.

We hear of unwanted visitors. The Germans may come to Bulgaria for a while, but they have the Red Army to face and will be transient.
