I believe there are enough people that like the games but computers killed large hex and counter games due to pricing. Most are waiting for the holy grail of a true to the rules incarnation of their favorite games on a PC. 3R failed miserbly and so have many other attempts. MWiF seems to be the great hope.

I believe an AI must be created for PC games to challanges the human mind without cheating in order to open the industry wide open. Until then the next best hope is to recreate an awesome boardgame that brings the community back together. Need I say MWiF!
