Can you tell us if we need to transfer any of the files to different folders. I know that the mapskin goes in the gfx folder. Thanks

My apologies - You are correct.

Copy MapSkin into: data/gfx

Everything else stays where it is.

You will find some extra content in: HEXAGON WILD/Stuff/IN HERE

I placed in the folder named "data/scenarios" and everything works fine. Of course the mapskin file goes in the "data/gfx" folder.

By the way AH4Ever, I have one thing to say about this scenario ---

OK Step By Step

Download > Save File (to wherever you usually do) > Extract All

This will leave you with - ?/HEXAGON WILD/HEXAGON WILD <<< Cut & Paste this one into

Storm over the Pacific/data/scenarios

Go to scenarios/HEXAGON WILD > Cut & Paste [MapSkin]HYBRID into data/gfx

THE END - GOOD TO GO - HAVE FUN

Can you upload onto Matrix?
My work has blocked most file sharing sites and I can't get to it

Now that I've played it a few times, I feel it definitely needs more events.

Which I will be working on, but if anyone out there actually enjoys creating events please go right ahead.

I'll be happy to include any and all that work, that's my trouble I clone/copy from those in the game and frequently they don't.
Work that is.

Thank you a lot, so far it has been a great, enthralling, sink or swim pain in the...

But you know all about that I'm sure.

Just curious - No comment on my sea zone names. I hope you don't mind my sense of humor.

I really would like you to see my MapSkin.

It is a patchwork from ToW normal, SOP normal and your latest for SOP.

The process continues, I found this while I was looking at or that might be lurking at the ToW forum:

Counters with bases

Then I just had to see if I could get it to work for my SOP scenario and I did.

All the real work was done by jack54 & Agent S - Thank you gentlemen

AH,
How about an AAR!
I think this work needs to be showcased.

and thanks for the 'agency' honoured to be included.

time for an ultra-primitive mod, that reflects those wonderful early games - me thinks.

I would like to thank all of you that responded, but I now feel that I posted this mod too early. The testing I've done as I work on events has shown it's weak points.

So for now I am removing it until some time after V 1.03 is official.

I really though it was good to go, but now I find that there is a compatibility issue with v1.03

for some reason Carrier Groups cannot recon over land hexes

I have reached out the WI guys for support.

Stay Tuned.

ONCE AGAIN THE MEN@WI CAME THROUGH - Bleck informed me that I needed to assigned coastal hexes to some land hexes not just sea hexes.
