I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but when doing the tutorial all units appear to report directly to the top HQ, rather than their own HQ. This doesn't happen in the tutorial movie!

I think you've changed the "Display Lines" button to Sup (show supply). I think CCA's command unit is actually the one at the top of the command group and the one the lines are going to is the supply unit, although it's hard to see in that image.

That'd explain it, anyway. :)

DanO is correct -- the unit the lines point to is a logistics unit, not an HQ (an HQ would have a little flag in the lower left corner of the icon).

This stuff does trip people up early on: there's a *lot* of power in the various buttons down at the bottom of the screen, but if you forget what you set them to -- a common beginner problem* -- then the result is complete confusion.

* I see a lot of beginners in this system, using it in a simulations class I teach.... And.... sometimes these settings trip up experienced users. Someone Who Will Remain Nameless (not me, surely? ) had a total panic recently thinking that the game was refusing to accept orders... because the "Display Tasks" button was Off. )

That did it, thanks guys. Slightly embarrased that I'd forgotten that - but now it works! :)
