Telumar,

Are you finished with that map ?  If so, then I dunno -- but if the map is in progress, I wonder if that's Salerno ?  That northern ridgeline and coastal curve has that look.   Anyway, looks interesting - whether it's Avalanche Beach or not.

Yes... Salerno is it. The map is not yet finished. It's at 2.5 km per hex, unit size will be battalions.

A Salerno scenario sounds cool. In the spirit of your post, this city plays a significant role in an upcoming scenario I'm working on with Felix & L'zard.

Yes, quite done and a few of us are playing it. Solitaire only, Human Axis against Allied PO. I need to get Autumn Fog wrapped up so I can finalize this one. I don't know where I got the map from, so if anyone recognizes it as theirs, or if anyone knows the maker of this map, drop me a hint so that I can ask permission for use.

Very nice icon mods there. I tried doing something similar and they looked terrible, so it you must be a bit of an artist!

I love the industry icons on the counters.  That is an industry icon 10-4?

Thanks,
Yes, they are industry counters. I was thinking about having different counters for each industry, but decided to quit while I was ahead.

Telumar,
Will the scenario cover the landings at the "toe" & at Taranto as well?

Nice work - do you have a ZIP file you can pass on? It looks a whole lot better than my current Alt Graphics mods.

That looks like the Benny Wahlberg map... scale is 20/25 km right?

I plan updates of Gotterdammerung1944-1945 and Europa 1947 which use some of the new features in 3.4
Then there's the Operation Berlin 1945 mod but that's been placed in the slow cooker

Yes, from looking at some other scenarios it looks like it could be the work of Patrick Feyret or Benny Wahlberg. Does anyone know if these guys are still active?

Jeff,
Here are counters that have modified icons (Rename the file from Counter Mods.txt to Counter Mods.zip). I made the counters specifically for the scenario so some of them have modified background colors. You could cut the icon out of the counter & paste it onto an existing counter.

A mod of Invasion Amerika, Fall Grau, or Falotti's 1945 Axis Invasion scenario?

Felix? Industry icons? It must be Turtledove-related. Is the city Washington D.C.?

I'm working on a scenario loosely based on the early Hellenistic period, but with a twist. Unfortunately, progress has been glacial and I've lost maps to fill-to-border gaffes more than once. I should be able to finish it before the end of this summer. Don't worry Bill, your efforts won't have been in vain!

Nope, it's Philadelphia. The City in the SW corner is Wilmington. Here's an overview map.

Unless Jeremy reappears to do so, I'll be making at port of Fall Grau. The scale should change the way the scenario plays completely.

Colin has ideas for his own counterfactual scenario along the same lines.

That's great news Ben. I'm still playing an old version of FG and enjoying it, but I'm sure it could be made better.

Operation Neva
The Leningrad-Novgorod Strategic Offensive January 1944

Have been working a long time on the this with very slow progress, but in the last couple of months I have really been getting somewhere. Not being a beta-tester, I'm pretty much waiting on v3.4 before starting serious testing.

Wow - glad to hear you're still working on this. :) Then let's hope Ralph et al get their job done soon, this is really something i'd like to get hands on. Regard this a volunteering for testing :)

I started making a variant of the Vietnam conflict that would include North Vietnam, parts of southern China, Laos, and Cambodia of course.  I was doing it mainly because I wanted to model the F-105's in their bombing campaign in NVN. Also, I wanted to give a version of the scenario where you could invade NVN at any time without repercussions. I got about 10% done with the map and gave up.  It wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to be.  Not hard just tedious work.
