I was wondering if the Death Star image could be layered over the World destroyer? If this has been mentioned forgive me for being so lazy.

[Cool, I was thinking the same, how do they look scaled in the game? Yeah more classes would be cool.  Also you mentioned Clone Wars mod, if you would like we can combine them in a single Star Wars mod as a another race.]
   Okay, I am working also on the CIS.  It is hard to find top views of ships.  I had a really hard time getting one of an Acclamator, as well as a couple of the CIS ships.  I am also working on a large list of Star Wars Universe Planet names, and agent names.

    I am going to try it this Thursday and see how it looks, and get back to you.  If it is good, I will upload it.  I suspect it will be limited because it will not be able to turn like a fighter...
    I fear this game system will die.  I do not see much activity.  Perhaps folks were looking for more ability to mod weapons and such...

Yes, it's rather quiet at the moment, but that may change once TPTB open the game up for more moddability. Which should be soon...

Okay, I did replace the escort with fighters (obviously just images).  By using a partial back background it looks okay.    I will probably keep it, but I could see some people not liking it.  But if anyone is interested, I will upload the ARC-170, TIE, F-23, and hopefully the Separatist Tri-fighter.  Just let me know.

Hey gang, I finally have some stuff that I can upload for other people.  Is there a way to do that here or do I have to have my own website and so on.
I have a large list of SW planets, and some other goodies that people might enjoy.

tjhkkr, yes you can upload to the Matrix server. There are instructions somewhere on the forums.

All you need to do is click reply on a post and a new window appears for your message. At the bottom, below the smileys you'll see a button saying 'click here to upload'. Only certain files are supported however, so sometimes its best to zip your files especially if you're uploading more than one.

I have been very surprised at the lack of technical drawings for SW ships. Certainly not much for the Separatists. I have managed to find 3. And if it had not been for lordxorn, the Lucre Hulk class would not be there.
I have only found about 5
I did find a Nebulon frigate for the later series.

This a bump for my updated Empire Theme, and new Rebel Alliance Theme.

Yes the Death Star can replace the World Destroyer, this is something I plan to test and implement in the future.

2gun, there are a couple of changes to the Empire's fleet, a new frigate, some improved image graphics. The rebels look superb you've got your mon calamari cruiser as capital ship, your light mon calamari as a cruiser. I don't know what the frigate is but it looks good, Nebulon B frigate as a destroyer. Both fleets escorts are groups of fighters but you have carrack cruisers and corellian gunships as extras for the escorts if you want to rename them.

There are a  couple of tiny problems, easily fixed :-

A thin white line at the bottom of the Imperial Star Destroyer image, cruiser.png.

The rebel alliance resupply ship must be renamed from supplyship.png to resupplyship.png

Balance-wise it looks pretty good. The Empire is very powerful with bonuses to just about everything, they can support large fleets and lots of troops, they have no special component. The rebels on the other hand have no bonuses to ship or troop maintenance, so they should be properly outnumbered by the Empires military. They have the Star Burner special component which gives them a nice red engine exhaust and allows them to flee from battle to oppose the Empire another day. Really nice touch that.

Thanks will update.

The Rebel Frigate is the Assault Frigate from EAW. The Rebel Capital is the MC80 Home One.

Yes I really took a look at the Racial traits and try to pair them up with their style of government. The rebels do have a strong advantage, with happiness, and trade bonuses, so making new allies will be key to taking on an aggressive Empire. Plus cash should not be a problem.

The empire should have the Planet Destroying Laser, so double check that for me.

I put a Excel spreadsheet that helps you easily keep track of Racial changes, and is labeled for convenience. If an excel guru can only figure out a way to export that data out, it would be perfect.

I tried downloading it, and it tells me the zip file is corrupted. I will try again. The weapons file was fine.

yes, and no. I am not sure the fighters look so hot when they are being shot up, and the movement is not exactly fighhter like. Even so, I do use the ARC-170 on my mods and it is okay. I have not done so with the CIS... though I do have Droid Tri Fighter model to work with.

Personally, I've got all mine set up for Star Trek, I'm too lazy to keep changing back and forth, so I'm just kind of ignoring the flagshapes when playing Star Wars.

However I do think it makes a big difference, but only for those few who are willing to change the files. I'll make the wmf if you want, just put in the mod folder so you don't have to upload a seperate file. Those who wish to use them can do so.

Who knows, modable flag shapes could be included in the next patch.

Here are a few SW ships, 1 CIS, 4 Corellian, a couple of Republic ships.
Also, I included my SW planets list. About 400 are SW, the remainder have been filled out by Greek city names and the like.

I incorporated your Star Wars planet list which was more comprehensive then mine.

I will take a look at your stuff.

I am also working on Robotech Race.

So we will see where things end up.

I may be moving soon, so I will be busy, plus a full load of college classes.

Hopefully by the time I get resettled, and finish this semester, the !GASP! Expansion will be out in December.
