Status: offline 		I did a clean install so that I could load Pz Comand Oper Winter Storm before installing PCkharkov.

I installed PCOWS, version 1.13 I think it was.

Then I installed PCK version 1.00DR and 1.01DR patch.

When I try to start the game, I get the following error msg. This is on version 1.01.

I get the same msg if I start it using the autorun in the PCK directory, but if I use PCKharkov.exe, the game starts and runs.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Oh, this is with a Windows XP, with IE7 installed. I've had PCK running on this system before with no trouble.

Status: offline 		Well, I finally found the problem, though I'm not sure how it happened.

The Autorun.exe file was flagged to run in Window 95 compatibility mode. I dont know how that happened, nor how it persisted through I think 3 installs. I unchecked that in the properties dialog and the game started fine from the Game menu.

I'm doing another clean install (all the way from PCOWS to PCK to see if it gets set again.
