New hotkeys in 3.4?

Post by Abnormalmind »

Hi,

I was hoping a tester could tell us if there are going to be more hotkeys in 3.4? Like, remapping d to "just dig in" and not advance to the next unit. Mapping capital D to dig in the entire stack. "t" for setting a unit to tactical, and T to set the stack to tactical. My trackball gets a serious workout every time I fire up a big scenario. The menu driven aspect is fine, but I would love to have a ton of hotkeys. Plus it'd be great to have a single key to dig in all units!

Thanks

I agree 100% with you. Those hotkeys would make game even more easier & faster to play etc.

Waiting...

On the word Waiting in this context I think on Dutch song. 'Ik sta op Wacht' (In EngIish is it I think: 'I stand on Guard') from Joop.

Do you know this song?

I sure do.
We used to add words to the melody in between the lyrics

Ik sta op wacht -in m'n hemd, zonder broek
En denk aan jou - in m'n hemd, zonder broek[:D]

demjansk,

Not that I am aware of. "T" for unit tactical reserve or left click menu for tactical reserve for group.

Best wishes,
Steve

There is a free program called Hotkeys that allows you to map mouse/keyboard actions to specified key combinations. I've used it for a different game, and it works quite well.
