I'm not sure why XP Compatibility didn't work, but the patch is coming fairly soon, so you may have to wait until the patch beta is out which doesn't require that flag. Then I'll have more options on how to find out what's going on and how to fix it. The other option would be to take out most of your memory. You've got over two gig installed, which isn't reported correctly using the old APIs that were being used. Norm programmed it to run on as little as 32 Meg (yes, Meg) of memory. Unfortunately it was reporting 0 Meg of memory, which is less than 32, and making the maximum screen size pretty small. It's amazing how often someone puts a smoke detector in the code which causes a fire. Ralph
