Status: offline 		if you see that an individual pilot in a group has extremely high fatigue, its good to send him for a 'rest'.

Will the pilot return to the same unit or become available in the pool?

Status: offline 		It is to save your top aces from dying in combat, for example. Although sending them to Training Command instead would be more useful, I think.

I really see no reason for it. I would just put them in group or general reserve. Unless there is some other benefit that I am unaware of.

Status: offline 		not sure if there are any other uses; you could probably use it to 'save' a pilot from becoming a pow in base that was going to be overrun i guess.

Maybe the 180 day leave is to let them get some R&R? ;>
