Yep, load the wpae001.pws file, (it overwrites the combat reports too)

where is this file located? there is no wpae001.pws in the save directory (there is a wpae000.pws and a wpae002.pws - but no 001.

thanks

Me and my buddy are facing the same problem.
We are starting up a joint campaign game vs AI, so we would both like to be able to view the (same) combat results.

As jackyo123 mentions, it seems that no combat save (ie wpae001.pws) is generated in single player mode. Is there a way to pass on and review the combat phase?
And a related question: when pressing 'execute' button, a preturn save file is generated. Are combat results already fixed in this preturn file, or only after the combat phase is terminated? If fixed in the preturn, this would solve the issue as well, but I don't think this is the case.

Any help?
Thanks & regards,

Moss

The 002 save is done just before the turn resolution happens.
So loading this and hitting 'end turn' should give consistent results as long as none of the preferences are changed between replays.
The special preferences that can cause replay sync issues are NOT specifically saved in an AI game, only in a PBEM.

Thanks for the info!

You wrote: 'just before the turn resolution'. That seems to suggest that when I send the 002 save to my buddy (after clicking the 'end turn' button and viewing the results myself), he will not necessarily get the exact same resolution results after installing my file and clicking the 'end turn' button himself.
We don't mind the preferences, we just want to make sure there's only one combat resolution, reviewable by the both of us. If I understand you correctly, using the 002 file would guarantee this, correct?

Cheers,

Moss
