I've written before about my issue of blurry screen with my new OS, Win 7. I'm running Nvidia 9800GT on Intel Quad-core.I have tried lots of settings and updateing drivers. The monitor I have is an older Dell M992 19". I have been considering replaceing it with something more up to date. I'm limited for space so I don't want a wide-screen, I prefer something simaler to my existing size.
I'm looking at a 20" LG1942s that has a native resolution of 1280X1064.
Does anyone know if this would solve my problem or do you have recommendations?

I have a Samsung 215tw that I paid about $200 for. It's an 8-bit S-PVA panel (much better for photo editing than cheap screens with TN panels), 21 inch screen that I quite like, a major step-up from the laptop screen I was using. Once calibrated it matches my prints almost perfectly. It's been discountinued, but if are look around you sould be able to find one. Mine's a refurbished one I bought off of ebay, if you go this way be sure that you can return it in case there are problems.

I looked for the cheapest I could find a few weeks ago and the Acer X1653W was the least expensive, and it still seems to be a nice monitor.

Polar and Garmin make some for about $50, there are a couple of other brands. You can find heart rate monitors at target, wal mart, sporting goods stores, running stores or bicycle stores.
