This is not a political discussion. Its just a discussion where such forums might uh exist. Im especially interested what happens in america. I know only one forum where I can get lots of fresh war related news 24/7 and thats ww2ol offtopic forum but I have to pay 15$ per month for just that.

So whats good site for one who looks forum that is active 24/7 and has minute-to-date "wargamer" news and is free? I checked wargamer forums but it doesnt look too much alive. I know the "steak"-place and its too small for my tastes.

You certainly have a multitude of options covering military news coming out of United States , if your looking for discussion on current events with fellow war gamers you might want to take another look at the "steak".
I personally don’t post there for some reason the hippies at Comcast have censored Doggie ‘n gang from Chicagoland audiences ? …………

Seriously I have no idea, for some reason my web browser or any I have accesses to in my area will pick his forum up?
I wouldn’t bother with WG or ACG as they are very clicky with the unchecked chosen few vomit their personal attacks at their own discretion.

No one at Doggies is going to edit your post or ban you for difference of opinion

straight up.......

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.ibm.pc.games.war-historical

no moderators, all wargamers, no post ever edited or deleted, no bans, talk about whatever interests you, but be prepared for having your views challenged and flamed to a crisp.

Did you check out http://maddogdrivethru.com (the successor to the "Steak"place) recently?

The posts can get pretty lively...the topics are varied.....a good amount of focus on "all things America", yet there is a UK sub-forum (as well as several others) and plenty of Euro-oriented posts as well.

As Sarge mentioned, threads, topics and comments are not censored.

And, we even have a few Finns that post on a regular basis.....

My suggestion, http://www.armchairgeneral.com/forums/

Good community that discusses many current and history related topics. Worth a peek.
