Just upgraded to Windows 7 64bit
Playing WitP AE the screen is fuzzy and the lettering is hard to read.
I am running at the default setting of 1280x1024.
I tried resetting to 1024x768 but saw no change.

Dell 19" CRT

You might have luck by disabling ClearType (designed to make text look better on LCD type displays).

Click your 'Start' button, type in ClearType, it should list the "Adjust ClearType text" tool, click that to launch it, disable ClearType and see if that improves your experience.

Tried it, had no luck.
I may have to wait for microsoft or nvidia(I have a 9800GT) to come up with new drivers.

Try this: right click game exe or shortcut file and go to properties>compatiblity tab. Put check boxes in for Disable Visual Themes and Disable Desktop Composition. Click ok and run the game now. It will now disable aero and any other fancy stuff and may fix your issue. When you exit the game the desktop will set back to how you had it before, except with a couple of misbehaved games it doesn't set back so you have to log off and back on to windows for it to get set back to your settings.
