Is there a bug with the off map movement? I'm playing a long campaign game and it appears my fleets from Balboa are being randomly deposited near enemy territory. I had one transport fleet with escorts get deposited near Rabaul and now I have a Air Combat TF with the Hornet as well as a large transport fleet that was deposited near Kwajalein Atoll.

All I did was form the TFs in Balboa and then clicked on a hex near the exit area on the US West Coast.

Played over 12mths for no problems, though I always direct the TFs to a Port, not a sea hex.

Are you fully patched etc etc?

On the tech support forum, please post a save from just before the TFs left the off map movement system.  I alerted the naval team to the possible issue.  They probably won't be able to do anything without a save and they need to catch it in the act.

I've had a couple of TFs show up unexpectedly at Rangoon and Singapore in 12/41 - APs at the former and CL Ceres and APs at the latter. Both arrivals caught me by surprise. I wasn't sure if I had overlooked them in the vast amount of shipping fleeing the outbreak of the war. Your thread makes me wonder, though, if something similar is happening in my PBEM game.

Reinforcement convoys with a couple of brigades for Rangoon and Singapore are already set up at the start of the game and can IIRC be found at the Indian west coast.

I read a post by the developers (somewhere) about not changing the destinations or home ports while in transit. It can amke them disappear. Which indeed happened to my first AI game. I had to withdraw the CL hobart (I think) and I could not find it! It was in TF322 but this TF would not display. I finally got it to display by going to the ship display and displaying the Hobart, then clicking the button at the bottom left of the map (Display all ships in the hex) I found I had 4 TF in never never land, about 15 ships.. I since restarted..... I'm very careful about the off map movement now...
