There comes a point when it just takes way too long to load, and you just don't need every turn from 5 months ago, but would still like to have some kind of long term record, especially as Japan for resource and supply levels. For example, my Scen 2 IJN game is on turn 260, with nearly every turn from 75 loaded in (so ~200 turns). The DB is huge, and java.exe eats up almost 700MB of RAM while it's running.

It would be great to be able to remove 90% of the turns (all but the 1st/15th of each month, for example) manually, without having to delete the entire DB and start fresh.

It's placed in the save folder, this one has to be removed?
I've got about 100 turns.

I keep a separate folder for this purpose. I only load the 1st and 15th day of each month so that over time I can see the long term trend. My main tracker file can be reset every 100 or so turns once it starts to get too long to load.

Yeah, I've thought of this work-around, but I haven't actually done it yet. I guess I will, though it means keeping two trackers for one game which seems a bit silly. I was just wondering if this was a potential future feature, because it would be extremely useful.

I wonder if Tracker could have a different kind of "Aircraft Comparison" than one vs one airframe. I would like to be able to pull up all the Japanese fighter, as an example (all airframes, but be able to sort like you can on the Production). Then, have columns with model, upgrade path, engine type, speed (both cruise and max),armament (centerline and wing separate), bomb load, service rating, availability date, maneuver bands, and climb rate. It would help players make decisions on what airframes to focus their R&D on and give me a quick way to look at the characteristic that are important.

I've been considering overhauling the airproduction with another screen for planning, but that might take some time. Anyway, let me think about it Michael.

It works that came with changing the SAVEMOD into 1.
And also run the .001 file.

Does tracker reference the ship sides correctly when playing all scenarios. It seems correct for Scen001 and 002 etc but for smaller scenarios it appears wrong.

Status: offline 		WitPtracker uses the bitmap index based on ship class. If the files in ART are correct in the folder the [Dir] attribute points to (from witptracker.properties), it should be right.

Status: offline 		Any idea why my ship reinforcement list suddenly shows all ships arriving at wrong base?
This is RA 5.3 and in game the arrival locations are right.

When I created a new tracker DB with the same save file, the arrival locations are correct.

see when and maybe what causes the error.

I'm a newbie and I'm playing 1st time scenario 1 as allies vs AI
I'm on 8th december and I was planning new moves with tracker. When I save on excel TFs.cvs, in the column "destination", if a port I have a number in bracket (for example: "171,50 (Dutch Harbor) [3]"
is there someone who can help me and know what does it mean?. I'm sure it is an easier thing to understand, but I really don't have idea by now

Is the port size (in your case Dutch Harbor, port size=3)...

I've just come back to play AE...

I've just installed the last version of Witptracker and the last version of Java (ver 7)

When I tried to launch witpracker I had this message (sorry in French)

'java' n'est pas reconnu en tant que commande interne ou externe, un programme executable ou un fichier de commande...

Thus, I think that I have some trouble with Java!!

yes. Tracker doesnt work with java 7 only java6. Check my post on the previous page.
