Status: offline 		This was the back end of a larger surface enagement but I love the comment in bold:


Night Time Surface Combat, near Belep Islands at 111,149, Range 1,000 Yards

Japanese Ships
DD Hibiki, Shell hits 8, Torpedo hits 2, and is sunk
TB Kari

Allied Ships
BB Mississippi
BB Warspite, on fire
CL Trenton, on fire
CL Concord, on fire
DD Drayton
DD Shaw, Torpedo hits 1, and is sunk



Reduced sighting due to 7% moonlight
Maximum visibility in Overcast Conditions and 7% moonlight: 1,000 yards
Range closes to 8,000 yards...
Range closes to 4,000 yards...
Range closes to 1,000 yards...
Conlon, G.E. crosses the 'T'
DD Shaw and DD Hibiki duel to the end at 1,000 yards
Range increases to 2,000 yards
Task forces break off...

Could have been a short AAR if the let the BB's have a go. But no, they have to let the DD go one on one while the rest of the BB's and CL's watch.

Status: offline 		But Shaw on suffers 1 torp and the Hibiki  8 shell & 2 trops.

Hardly a duel to the end!

20 gun & a couple of torp hits is more of a death struggle.
