I cant run the 41 campaign for pbem.
Is this right.
Could someone confirm this?

Don't know if this is the right way or not, but it works for me!

Assuming you're the Axis, set up as 'Campaign '41' and 'Secure PBEM Game'. Then 'Accept Set Up'. Once you've set the delay/display it'll take you into the Axis start positions. Before you make any moves, click on 'Esc' again. Go back into Set Up and you'll see that the 'Player' is set to 'Both Human'. Change it back to 'Secure PBEM Game'. Now when you 'Accept', it takes you back into the start but this time in the PBEM mode. Carry out all your moves and then after combat it'll ask you to Save the game. Pick your letter and then save it. It will then exit the game and you can e-mail the 3 relevant save files to the Soviet player.
When the Soviet player gets the 3 save files, copy them into the game folder and then start the game as 'Saved Game' and 'Secure PBEM Game' in the Set Up screen. It asks for a password and then they do their bit. When the Axis player gets the files back, they put in their own password and so it goes on.
Sorry if you've done all that already, but if not, try it and see.

It's not as simple as Harrybo puts it, if this is your first pbem game you need to fix a bug before starting your pbem game.
I had a short note somewhere here but can't find it at the moment.
Can someone of the Old Guard in this forum refresh this matter, before WiR gets out of date?

All I can remember is that you have to change a setting in the EDITWIR.exe command but I do not recall which default values you have to change to make sure you can play a PBEM game. Again, help from the older grognards is required.
