"Oil on the water" Fact or fiction?

Post by Hornblower »

Misconduct’s thread “Books to read for help” and my post has raised a question. Rumor has it that Erick Bergerud has a third book covering SoPac due out. “Oil on the water: the naval war in the South Pacific.” Has anyone actually seen this in print?

I recently picked up two of his books, Touched by Fire: The Land War in the South Pacific and Fire in the Skies, I would imagine if he wrote both based on Air/Land war he would write a 3rd on the Naval aspects, however its not complete yet as I have not found any ISBN on the book yet.

I did find his email address active on the internet, going to shoot him the question if the book is done, or will be done.
