Started playing "Counterattack at Hamich" with the new 1.03 This is a night scenario, yet as I watched my opponents turn 1 replay one of my MG's reached out and ripped an American jeep that was 2 hexes away.

So far during my turns I've only been able to see adjacent hexes however my opponent tells me on his turn one, visibility was two hexes.(?) This could explain my MG opfiring out two hexes but... I thought night scenario visibilty was suppose to stay at one hex??!?

I thought only scenarios with ranges 5-14 lose their variable visibility?

No, only scenarios with 1-4 hexes initial visibility that are NOT night scns (not have "night" box ticked in the scn header), and scns with visibility of >15 have fixed visibility.
NIGHT scenarios have variable visibilty under night rules (which is defendable since a cloud covering the moon would have immediate impact on visibility).

But... I didn't know of any variable visibility when I designed the scenario. Historically there shouldn't be any in this scn.
