I don't believe it represents anywhere near half of the WitP map.

In the west it covers from Brisbane to Wewak and in the east it covers from Noumea to Narau with due north skewed about 10-12 degrees to the west.

The longest campaigns span from May 1, 1942 to the end of 1943.

The Osprey: did they ever "perfect" that widow-maker of a VTOL?

I think what your really asking though is UV any good. It would seem so for some of us UV fanatics.

But it is certainly worth anyones $29.99 with an interest in the theatre. I think thatīs still the price. Yes, just checked, thatīs still the price.

There is also a PDF file of the map in the game itself.  You can find it in the game files.  It isn't as nice, or large as what Matrix sells but it'll do in the meantime I suppose.

What I can't figure out,is why they just didn't make WitP an add on of UV,becuase you could probably do the same battle in WitP.And sense they pretty much have the same exact engine, getting UV would be pointless wouldn't it?

The 2 games are as different as night & day even though they share the same basic engine. Marketing is what drives things and more money was to be had from a new game instead of an add on or expansion.

These are two very different games.

Each has its own +'s and -'s.

I like both.

For me itīs the games scale. Not just that UV focuses on one certain area of the war but the game map scale itself. UV hexes are 30 miles per hex and WITP is sixty.

This map scale difference alone creates a very different game.
