Well I'm tired of waiting for another Diplomacy game to start, so I guess I'll start one myself.

GAME NAME: Diplomacy – End of Innocence

SCENARIO FILE NAME: European Diplomacy v2.pt2
REQUIRED GAME VERSION: 1.11

GAME OPTIONS SELECTED:
FOG OF WAR
ANTI-SUPPLY
2 ROUND BREATHER
ALLOW MAKING PEACE
ALLOW ACTION CARDS
ANTI PBEM CHEAT
PASSWORDS
SCREENSHOTS
UP TO 9 PLAYERS

Countries will be determined randomly. Dedicated players only. If you can’t turnaround within 24 hours, please don’t sign up. (This should not be too much of a problem, as you will probably only have to do one turn a week.) Exceptions for vacations, emergencies, etc. will be made.

Players will need to post on this forum when they pass on the turn to the next player. This way if one player did not receive the turn by email it lets him know that a problem occurred.

This is my first multi-player PBEM so I may need a little help / advice during the setup.

We could do the 4 player option or the USA Pick'um if your looking to start soon.

Make a post in the general forum with a link to this one saying we need 5 more players.  Always works for me.

I dont want to play in a game with less than the full 9 players.

Maybe it will, I just didn't notice that game, I guess other players may have also missed it. BTW, please count me in if there's some room left

The problem with these games is that they are so slow. Loads of fun, and hopefully, as players start to drop out things will speed up. But I have enough to do trying to remember who are allies and who are enemies when my weekly turn comes around already - without playing a third game where many of the players are the same.

I am currently in 4 ED games and 1 Random Scenario.

Sometimes it is difficult to keep them separate, but i keep a file for each one and look at it prior to playing the turn.  It helps me keep things straight.

The random game is the fastest, it only has 5 players.  The ED games range from 3 days/turn to 2 weeks/turn.

Being a nerd is a great way to make a living.

Many of the kids/college students these days dont want to go into computer science or engineering because it is "nerdy". Fine with me, less supply for the demand means higher salaries for the "nerds" like me. Oh and the watered down versions (BCIS) offered at business schools dont count
