ORIGINAL: Warhorse I have a question though, does anyone have, or know of a map of all the terrain shp files, so that one can find trees, or the walls, etc.? I have the Bible, but that is only the custom terrain, I need something that tells what each of the terrain shp files contain. Just a thought, but if what you're after is 'compilation' of all the individual icons, you could use the 'save collage as BMP' button in Fred's ShpEd program to create such a set. That's how I extracted all the building and custom-terrain pics for the Icon Bible. By selecting the smallest images (zoom-level 1, or Terxxz1.shp*), the collages for most of the terrain SHPs will 'fit' onto 1 or 2 BMPs (which can then be converted to GIFs or PNGs to save disk-space). If you plan to 'number' the icons, keep in mind that SPWAW labels the first icon in each SHP as zero, while ShpEd begins with one. I just remembered that I have 'inventory' images for several of the terrain-SHPs not included in the Icon Bible, so its possible I may have what you're looking for. Send a PM and I'll be glad to help out. *Some of the terrain SHPs also have a z0 file which contains thumbnail-sized (very small) pics of the icons. While these allow the entire contents of the SHP to be viewed on a single collage, the displayed images may be too small to discern in some instances. Attached is the collage for Ter31z0.shp (palm trees). Note: I cropped the 'empty' areas, and converted the image (from a 1.18MB BMP to a 'lossless' 4.8KB GIF), but did not change its size.
