Hi TOAW team,

Quickie msg to let y'all know that in the coming weeks my TOAW activities will be coming to a temporary full stop.
Our new "trailer trash" house is under construction and will be delivered before Christmas.
Earlier today I had a contractor coming out here. We mainly discussed dung as he had to calculate the incline of the line from the new site to our existing septic tank... wanna avoid having to cough up 6000 USD for a new tank.

In the mean time I'm close to finalizing the Gotterdammerung mod which will become available in a week or so.
I took down the intermediate version posted on Gamesquad.

Best of luck with the new House! I hope the builder is designing a flexable floor plan with an historical reality, multiple objective tracks and various 'surprise' options that give it that 'Hey, I love this' feeling!

For the kitchen we first considered to go for "fuhrerbunker grau", but "sahara desert" is more relaxing

Fingers crossed that our events list doesn't get too complicated, where one event triggers another with a huge drop in supply as a result of that

Hoppe your GHQ and Finance Minister (believe me, I have one too....) are square with the proposed operational plans, developments, and, hem, dare I say, concideration of proper planning before a crisis arises.

Nothing worse than being in the poo when the poo hits the fan (or backs up, or, don't 'flow' as it should).

Heads up - it will all work out in the end...

I would think that you want the sewer line to decline from the new site to the existing septic tank. Otherwise, things could get a little...messy...

Exactly James I think we better move this to the development forum

So, who made the decision on the color...was it you, or "Household Six"?****

***"Six" is always the call sign for a unit's commander (i.e. "Alpha Six....").

we managed to establish a secondary line of suppy (additional driveway) but it cannot be used before exclusion zone 1 (the fence) has been lifted

hmmmm.... hope the whole unit don't go into reorg until the secondary source is enabled.

Gosh, feels like me, playing Felix in AF1914-18, hoping the Reds 'come soon'.....

The engineer unit will arrive on Monday to dig trenches for utilities... then we can put up exclusion zone 2 (a new wider fence) and lift exclusion zone 1

We were gonna start setting up the new exclusion zone when the weather got bad and there's mud on my map...
Must be a storm event set on variable turn range...

Wasn't that your new house arriving in the videos I say? Frances and I had a good chuckle over them, as well.

Silvain: Tee-shirt weather at my house, LOL! Had to mow the grass TWICE so far. YOU have my sympathy, eh? Told you ya should move in near-by! Trees budding, daffodils near to blooming, thinking about getting the BBQ out of storage, wish you were here, LOL!

Still working Bill's playtest, but might be interested....

Note that Bill's testing is in 5.1 status, if your interested, eh? We're playing it pbem, with restarts about every month (so far), which is why I'd be interested in your present proposal, but it could always use another 'tester', eh?

My scenario folders don't have 'cival war 2008' extant, so let's make sure we're talking the same sceanario, lol! OR I'm really looking in the wrong place! Point me to the DL and I'll read it. Might come in handy for said 'playtest', eh?

I'll tell you a 'yes/no' after reading the docs..........go email on this!

(spring comes to even those forsaken places like Texas, given enough time, LOL! Wanna 'race' for the best pics of the new spring flowers? )

KURT

Why not....

Just be warned, over the next few days, I'm moving to new hardware (and, throwing off the shackles of a 5 year old PC (problem child)).

And, living there is no excuse....
