I must be missing something.

Seems like I can place units on hexes where their are already other units but try as I may I cannot figue out how to place them on empty hexes.

This is my problem whether I'm altering a senario or starting a new one. It also seems to have nothing to do with what type unit or type of terrain. The popups do not come up to ask for what type unit to place.

Probably missing something easy but I've worked with it for a couple hours now.

See the picture below.

First, select the hext you want the unit in. Here is selected a hex in Ireland controlled by the West.

Next, hit the Units button

Then, hit add a unit.

For the unit, you can now start adding your sub units.

PM me if you are still stuck.

For speed, you can also copy a previously made unit but you need to know it's number. This is the fastest way to make a front line.

The hex you place your unit in must belong to a regime.

tweber thanks for the reply. The  steps you outline are what work for me if the hex is occupied.
But not for an empty hex. No popup comes up to "add a unit in hex".

bbmike thanks for the reply. That gets it. I put a unit in a regime owned hex and bingo.
Didn't go further and try to assign a hex to a regime but I'm sure that should be easy enough.

Thanks again guys.
