How much does Pilot Exp. factor into fighter performance?

I get that fighter performance is affected by roughly the following in order (but correct me if I am wrong):

1. Speed
2. Firepower
3. Maneuver
4. Durability
5. Climb Rate

Where would Pilot Experience factor in? I think that is an important question for Japan, particularly later, because you can produce hundreds of Franks, for example, pretty much as many as you have pilots and airgroups for. Does it make sense to hold pilots back to train, or just toss 'em in quickly? (assuming you can train up to mid-50's quickly, or 80s in about 3 months).

Rates about a point 5 on your scale there. A good pilot in an Oscar is better than a rookie pilot in a Tojo.

somewhere between 2 and 3 since pilot exp greatly influences the effect of firepower.

In stock I can get a 80 exp daitai in Tojos achieve 1:1 against P38 (65 exp.) on the offense and perhaps nearly 2:1 on the defense when the numbers of attacking and defending aircraft is 1:1.

A 60 exp. daitai of Tojos loses 1:6 or 1:7 against the same P38, so it seems exp DOES have a huge impact (as it should be IMO). There´s only the problem that you will need a loooong time (in game terms) to get a pilot to the 80s when it starts out as a 30 exp noob.

I don't think you can insert pilot exp in a list of plane characteristics. It's apples and oranges. Good pilots make bad planes better, avergage planes great and great planes almost unbeatable. I had a great group of pilots flying P-35s and they still never shot down one plane, but I didn't lose many either. As soon as they upgraged to P-38s that same group of pilots now rule the skies. Nothing Japan throws at them can even come close to threatening.
