Status: offline 		My joystick doesn't work anymore as it used to, but if someone is up for Starshatter 4.5, I might get my 'stick work well enough with starship.

Status: offline 		well I have version 5.0.1.....I'll be on tonight. I'll try to set up a server if I can....if not I'll look out for others and join one if I see it...

Status: offline 		Sorry pal, I guess I can't join on your Starshatter 5.0.1 server with my Starshatter 4.5.0. Switch to older version (4.5 that is) and you might get me in.

I'm not a noob or anything to servers, but I got the impression that if you host a server, you could't play unless you had two machines.
I'm thinking I'm wrong with that and the host CAN play...but I'd like someone to confirm that for me.

As for hosting a server...well...I would...but my connection isn't reliable ATM. Otherwise I would throw one up.

Been looking for a server...but it seems that no one has one up that I can see.

Status: offline 		I'm new to the game, still playing through the campaign for the first time.  I'm going on vacation the 3-12, but when I come back, I am going to look into getting a server going at least a couple of regular days every week.

I'm hoping I can start playing with mods, and maybe even try my hand at helping one of the existing mod efforts.

Not sure if you can run the server and the play at the same time.  I'd hate to have to buy two copies to do that.  I've got the hardware to run an almost permanent server (I got 3 machines that can easily run this game), but not sure if I can install a separate copy without buying another one. 

I'll check out how it all works in a few weeks.  Stay tuned.

Love the game so far.
