Since I might skip BFTB I decided to port my fictional Cologne map to COTA at least.
Maybe someone's willing to create a fictional scenario on this fictional map (simulating a typical german river valley), or maybe someone's got a good idea how to port it to 1940, scenario-wise.
One idea would be to have parts of the BEF push towards the river Rhine right in the middle of the phoney war, while the bulk of the French troops conduct a thrust (not part of the map) into the Saarland region (which really happened btw, they passed the border to Germany but stopped 11 km upcountry and got order to dig in, or to withdraw where necessary).
Maybe someone has sources/material about equipment/TOE of the BEF and/or is willing to create the scenario file. I don't have the time atm.
Here's a screenshot.....somewhat colourful, and I'm not sure if I'll keep it that way... Maybe I'll use the HttR-mod, but it's a mix of remnants of captain's mod and my own work right now. Work in progress.
What do u think?
