I don`t need that for the VCFL.We don`t use exact CFL rosters for a few reasons the biggest being we drafted our teams 3 years ago before the game came out. We`ve played a tournament and had a draft already to get the rosters to where there at.Plus we have 12 teams the CFL has 8.

Would it still be possible to join.  I would like to create a team and place them in Columbus Ohio.  To get an idea of what the team would look like please visit www.sentries.blogspot.com

Thanks

(1) What staduim would you use.Would a Canadian Field fit in it?
(2) Also we are a Canadian rules league with a quota are you fine with that.?
(3) How much exsposure have you had to CFL football?

I have had some exposure to the game, I like the wide open play. Fine with Canadian rules and while the capacity might be a bit small Crew Stadium would fit a Canadian field. Also the new Huntington Field for the Columbus Triple AAA team the Clippers might work. What do you think?

I just have some questions how this league works.  Do I just handle rosters or do I need to create a playbook as well?  Also, are we going to have the ability to watch the games in this league? and finally, what is the current status of the league? it seems like we are in the middle of the offseason, so any list you could provide me with as what I need to do would be greatly appreciated.

At this stage we are just doing roster updates. You can send in your own playbook but no custom plays.

Also, are we going to have the ability to watch the games in this league?

No at this point.Thats not to say in the future we won`t.Althought I like what the MLF is doing.

and finally, what is the current status of the league? it seems like we are in the middle of the offseason

Yes were in the middle of the offseason between 2006-2007.I am currently updating the rosters now manually with whos retireing whos free agents .
Theres a couple of problems that the VCFL is having now.Dave keeps doing improvements which is good no complaints. The thing is my computer can`t handle the updates so in March or Mid April before I move up to Nunavut I will be getting a laptop to handle everything so the season will be delayed till then.
Another problem is the programme I developed to create the players doesn`t work with the latest version of the update I have some the players don`t showup so I have to manualy put them in.
So thats where we are now.

Another question, what is the current website for the league and where are the message boards?  I thought I found them but there haven't been any new posts for a while. And as far as no custom plays, do we just pick the ones we want from an already approved playbook? Also, if you want I can help with things like the simming some games and the league website.

http://ca.geocities.com/football_canadian/VCFLStats/A_GO.html

The message board doesn`t get used very much.Communication is mostly Emails and this message board.

And as far as no custom plays, do we just pick the ones we want from an already approved playbook?

The plays to pick from are just from the ones in the game. This will change as 12 man plays are added.

http://www.blindsideblitz.com/vcfl/VCFLPlayingRules.htm
As for rule 6 they will always be standard plays from the game.

Also, if you want I can help with things like the simming some games and the league website.

That would be very much welcomed
