Day 2 14:40 Almost all my reinforcements are on the ground, 1 more load of 5 para units due by 18:00 south of EDE. 3. KG Hoffmann was under attack most of the nite and early morning, then nothing. the first cross appears on the map a anti tank platoon of thiers got a little to deep into my lines. 1. 3rd BN was in the tree line supporting KG Hoffmann[see yellow line] when the traffic dropped off from the crossroads i first sent a single coy to recon the crossroads and then the balance of 3rd to secure and defend the crossroads. 2. the 107th PZ Bde has ordered to move down the highway [fastest, quickest, aggro-high, rate of fire-rapid, losses high] this should clear the attacks on EDE from this direction and keep contact with the enemy, i want to keep contact and not let them dig in on the highway. 4. KG Hienke BN has been ordered to move down the track [fastest, quickest, aggro-med,rate of fire-normal, losses-med] to basically recon and keep my options open. Take the objective if not fortifide or go north and get behind what's been attacking Heartbreak ridge.
