Treale -> Older SSG! (3/25/2013 3:38:24 PM)

I've revisited my older SSG games. Namely Battles in Normandy, Battles in Italy, and Battlefront. The games run fine on my Win 7 computer except for the screen gets some interference and jumps around at times? I've tried adjusting the screen ratio's to match the game resolution, but nothing helps. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Have you checked with a different in game resolution?

I'm running at 1280x1024. I set the game to that. It helped some, but it still flickered?

My refresh rate will go from 60 to 75 to 85. It is presently set at 85?

Is it a CRT monitor?

No, it's a LCD...But an older one!

Is the "interference" momentarily? Or only disappear after scrolling?

It starts while scrolling and if you leave the mouse in that spot (generally a map edge) it will continue. Then if you move the mouse to the center of the map, it quits?

Could you please attach a DxDiag report file?

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

Here you go. If you can't figure it out, it's not that big of a deal! Thanks for your effort...

We are here to help as we can. [:)]

As this seems to be something related with graphics, you can try to update the Intel graphic chip driver:
