I have decided to add some more new ports to the map.

Britain = 2 Additional New Ports for Scapa Flow well it is Britains main Anchorage!
= New port for Aberdeen.

Russia = New Port for Petrograd.

Germany = New port for Stettin.

I will be adding more watch this space ![;)]

This link is for all the new Ports & Cities I have added to the map so far,as off 26/1/2013

For anyone who wants to add these new ports to the game,please use the download link,and Replace the Constructions.Lua file in game with this updated file. ( REMEMBER AND BACKUP YOUR DATA FILES ALWAYS THANKYOU)

File location = Slitherene/Commander The Great War/Data/Scripts
Also replace your existing Language file with the updated one.

I'm not sure multiple ports per city will work properly. IIRC several scripts refer to city.port and as far as the engine knows there is only one.

Venice & Trieste are indivdual ports,with both cities in different countries.As for the games engine,I have added 2 additional ports at Scapa Flow for Britains main naval base,so far without any problems.

I have added a new city and port to the game PORT SAID in EGYPT.[;)]

I have also repositioned LIMASSOL HARBOUR in CYPRUS.[:D]

Also just added the Italian port and City of BRINDISI at the entrance to the Adriatic.[;)]

I have downloaded from your attachment, but not all of the more recent ports are included. Are you planning on making an updated version available to the forum?

Cheers so far 20 people have downloaded the City & Ports mod,which is good to see.Watch this space there will be more added,in fact I have just added the City & Port of EMDEN,Germany has been dealt a naval raw deal by the game,it has even lost the large Port at HAMBURG,amongst others.[;)]

I'm going over the entire map,and adding additional City & Port combinations,where possible because on a personal level, I need them for all the new naval units I'm adding to the game,the mod will be made available to anyone who is interested in a more naval accurate game.

I am possibly wrong here, but Prague was an Austrian Hungrain city, not German.
I also wondered why the Austrians are industrially stronger than Germany in vanilla game.

I don't understand your first query,at the start of the game PRAGUE is a AUSTRIA-HUNGARY city!

I have modded most of the starting PP in the game,and Austria is not stronger than Germany,I will be adding more cities to the game map,so Germany will have even more PP's available to build units etc,as will other countries I may add.[;)]

Did you test what happens if you capture cities will multiple adjacent ports? I'm pretty sure only one of the ports will actualy change sides or have enemy ships pushed out. And in the Emden & Wilhelmshaven example the engine has no way to know which port belongs to which city. It might be that Emden gets Wilhelmshaven's port and WH gets none. Same for Taranto & Brindisi.

Just so you are aware of it, the engine was not designed for this and I'm expecting several issues even if it doesn't crash right away.

Hi not captured any with 2 or more ports as yet,I will try to do so later today,and see what happens,if there is a problem with engine and the number of adjacent ports,I will shift the cities slightly, so that there is always a free hex between 2 or more cities.
