Ah =) In this case "they" were me =) And yes the game is good. Better than Pride of Nations in my opinion. I was kinda skeptical at first and played it longer than usuall before I did the review. Personally Iam not deep into the roman civial wars but I was pleased. Feeled like a historicall lesson for me a bit.
If gamers are used to the AGEOD engine its a no brainer if they like ancient stuff. Especially if you consider the low price. But I mentioned in my review that AGEOD should consider a interface overhaul if they want to attract a broader audience in the future. The interface is good once you get used to it but casual strategy gamers could lose the interest before they get into the game.

And for those gamers who were upset about the Pride of Nations AI turn calculation times: Even on low end systems AJE turn calculations takes only 30-45 seconds and not those 5-6 minutes like in PoN.

The google translation (weird as always but you will get the point):

I would love to see them develop beyond the current engine in the future. Hopefully AGEOD can weather all the storms that arise in this industry. I could only imagine how competitive it must be.

Not enough of these historical games as it is so I tend to support the ones that do get released. For me it was easy with AJE.
