If your lucky and he/she is a decent sleeper it will get better soon. My son is now almost a year old and he sleeps without problems so evenings can be used for entertainment!

Didn´t know you just became a dad! Congrats! [:)] I have a feeling you are right about that... I think Erik and Joseph will be delighted when I do even more stupid things then I usually do! [:D]

Thank you guys!! [:)]

Yeah, I am mostly playing War on the Diapers atm.

He is currently undergoing an a/c ID training, I expect him to take over a minor TOO within the next few weeks,
as by then he will be better than me considering how much sleep we get.

One reason might be also that 2 of those units are Replenishment groups, not combat groups. Thus, you probably had only 21 fighters flying escort, which is nowhere near the amount needed for attack to launch (IIRC, you need 30% of enemy CAP).

What u need to hit the KB w/ a land attack: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2495125&mpage=20&key= post 576

1. Friendly air HQ w/ many units in same command(if expecting a KB move then pay the PPs to put all the LBA unit the HQ)
2. At least 50% escort compared to total defensive cap.
3. Some where I read you need a lead sqn to start the attack. So I trained one b24 sqn w/ secondary training in naval attack, set to 10000ft. The navy b24 sqns are good for this. The B24 will not hit but will break thru the enemy cap.
4. MAKE SURE ALL THE db sqns are the same alt as the b24 so the b24s act as a shield.
5. Bring in some Beauforts torp bombers as well as TBFs. Seems the Beauforts are braver in land based naval attack.

The MAJOR difference compared to your AAR is range. Your LBA attacks flown against CVs were over 2 hex and 5 hex range.
5 hexes is the threshold for attack probability dropoff. JocMeister´s targets were at exactly 6 hexes, so cleverly positioned.
