MP Beta: Save Game load problems (Full Version)

Q-Ball -> MP Beta: Save Game load problems (10/11/2012 2:51:42 AM)

I need to resume my game vs. Greyjoy, and having problems getting the save game file to load. I loaded the last beta on this link:

Greyjoy confirmed it's the same. Still, not working.

Any suggestions? Is there another patch or beta load that I might be missing?

Get Greyjoy to resend the turn after ending the turn again.

Why aren't you using the new beta ? It has MP standard now iirc ..

I've re-done the last turn using the Beta Patch version we were using (the 21st Jan 2012 version) and sent it to QBall

If it keeps on not working, maybe we can solve the problem moving to the new patch... do you guys think it would matter?

Making sure you are loading and saving under the same version is very important. Having said that the only way to know for sure is to upload the file for MichaelM. Even sending your exe and dll to make sure might be an option. Although you can see the version number on the main screen anyway.

Other than that moving to the new beta may solve your problems - but you will have to load the turn under the new beta and then send to Qball (who has to do the same). The new beta does have some nice new things too. You need to check with Michael that you can go that way regarding the MP though. As once you've gone, you can't come back!
