V1119 has introduced a bug not present in 1118f
the standard weapon load of the Ki-48 Lily now is 4x15kg instead of 4x100kg. Loading the same (old) save with versions up to v1118f shows the correct loads on aircraft data view. Also the combat report shows the use of 4x15kg (at range 1 ground bombing).
I have not checked, if other planes are also affected

Doesn't make sense, you are seeing a DB change.  The beta is EXE only.  I would re-check your install.

can you add a save here?
There may be data issue here.

the device on plane should be allowed to upgrade but wasn't. Was fixed in 1119 but as was no evidence that that is being used didn't add it to the release notes.
if this is a major issue, i'll rollback that change.

14/10/12: 1119a - Only allow a/c weapon upgrade if profiling on. This will protect ordinary scenarios which has bad data for upgrade on a/c devices.
Fragments off-map did not allow LCU parent swapping sometimes

That is the optional filtering for mission selection.

V1119a
This version seems to correct the issues with the wrong weapon loads.
It only works for saved games prior to v1119. Games saved under V1119 are messed up
(eg: 52nd I.F. Chutai, 7th Sentai: 4x50kg default and 2x15kg extended (should be 2x50kg)
44th and 6th Sentai, : 4x15kg default (should be 4x50) and 2x50kg extended).

After upgrading from 19 to 19a i still have problem with payload.

I have two Ki-48b units i the same base (8 and 16 Sentai). One is using bombload 4x15kg/2x15kg second 4x100kg/2x15kg. Also it look like 60kg bombs are gone from navy 2E bombers reduced bombload

For me it is not game braking right now because i have only few Ki-48 in serwice and 60Kg in navy bomber are not critical, but something is still broken

I am playing original Scen 1 (no changes). When i load editor it is showing good 4x100/2x100 bomb load. Also inside ac wiki is showing good bomb load. Ony organic group showing wrong ones.

Maybe when we run turn it will fix.
I can live with that. It will force me only to upgrade those units to Ki-49 earlier that i planed. Also i hope it will not broke other models.

Find another problem. Some Ki-49IIa units are using GP bombs, and some AP bombs (60 Sentai). Bomb load is correct 4x250/2x250


EDIT2
It look like problem is random for all units. Some units have good bomb load and some have wrong one. All models are infected but not all units of that model.

I don't know what scenario version you started with but there are some strange device upgrades. Anyway 1119a will stop any more groups from changing weapons.

we start under scenario 1 from patch 1.01.06i (exe upgraded to beta from August 2011)

I thinking what we should do now.
If there is chance to fix it next patch i willing to continue but if not i will talk to Docup to move back two days when we play under 17e

What is your suggestion Michelm?

PS. Can someone upload 17e patch. In case we will need to redone turn before we update to "19"

EDIT:
After reloading game and launching save again under 19a it looks like some units repair bomb load. 8 Sentai again is useing 4x100/2x100. For rest units its look now like that bug is only changing primary load. Ale secondary loads look like fixed after reloading game and save. Strange.

Because i have no 17e right now i hav play 1 DEC turn (17e version) under 19a. It look like everything is ok.

That is data. I'm only doing the EXE.
My understanding is that there is a data update, but unsure how it will be delivered as not part of my scope.

Michael is post#1 the 1119a file or not? The file I downloaded yesterday & again today shows 1119 once extracted (exe dated 10/13 10:17pm & says 1.7.11.19) but the zip says 1119a when it's downloaded. Even the in game screens show 1119. [&:]

The version & date in the 2nd post. Check the version on the main screen. The file timestamp get mucked up by timezones reporting 'your' time rather than 'mine'

I am going back to adding the character after the version like before. Once beta is official, I'll probably go back to a real number.

As far as i know only whay to fix this is back to turn before 1119 update and play again from that point.

This bug is introduced in 1119. 1119a will not fix it but will stop more units from changing bomb load. Updating from r9, 1117x,1118x directly to 1119a is safe. (only 1119 was broken)

Did you intentionally change something with coordination? Since we installed the latest beta I have suffered some crazy fragmentation. Even 18 plane sweeps fragment! Bombers split up in something like 20 different strikes. CouldnŽt find anything in the readme about it.

One thing I did notice that was pretty odd is that when sweeps fragment (never seen it happpen before I think) its always 3 planes that fragment and come in after the main part.

Always seen those, but not THAT often ... but they definitely exist pre-beta.  I'd say 10 -20% of the time ... something like that.  Pretty much see one every turn if there is a lot of a/c activity ... and my games tend to have a very high tempo due to my opponent (Andy AI)  [;)]

Weird because I never seen it before! Just installed the beta and BAM its all over the map.

Fragmentation is crazy, crazy. IŽll post a separate thread to not clutter this one.
