topeverest -> Wide Screen Support for Idiots (8/5/2012 7:33:50 PM) So I just had to switch my AE computer to a desktop with a dell ST2210 monitor. can i get the idiot resistant instructions to prevent my screen for stretching horizontally to fit the entire screen, as I seem not to be able to fix it myself.

Reg -> RE: Wide Screen Support for Idiots (8/9/2012 9:04:11 AM) If the picture stretches to fit the screen, then the monitor settings are probably your culprit. Press the OSD button on the lower right side of your monitor and navigate your way to the menu below. Change the Wide Mode to something other than "Fill" which stretches to fill the screen. 1:1 or Aspect are common options. 1:1 will prevent any resizing and may result in black bars around all four sides. Aspect allows resizing but stretches equally in height and width to prevent distortion but may result in black bars on the sides.
