krupp_88mm -> Hex side transparency (7/21/2012 4:12:27 AM)

I was annoyed that i couldn't tell where rivers were at or even tell if they were medium or small rivers looking at the map. this was due somewhat to the front line hexside covering them up. Additionally i thought the grey hexsides were somewhat distracting. To address these issues a simple mod to just make these textures ~56% transparent. Before mod. After mod. Download here, unzip with 7zip. Put graphics folder into your main game folder (that has the graphics folder in it already) and overwrite the files. Its advisable to backup your graphics folder by copying it and renaming it backup graphics, just in case you want to go back to the old way. Or use JSGME mod enabler. http://www.mediafire.com/file/ij9cu7to3eta4p4/graphics.7z (old version) http://www.mediafire.com/?3ps5nzxe58j399j (improved front line markers version) If you just want the hex's shaded and not the front line markers shaded than delete the "border folders" in each of the three system graphics folders. But leave the hex raster there. BEFORE you overwrite your files, not after.
