AGC: The grinding is going amazing great. I guessed it would be able turn 14 and it seems to be paying off big time. My infantry toe is amazingly high despite the hvy fighting. Thanks M60, I cut my teeth assaulting Moscow head on in 42.

AGS: SHC heads for the hills. 2 PZ Corp turn and head towards Moscow. One Corp heads for Rostov. SHC running east is really going to give me allot of space to retreat.

Turn 15
German Arm PTs in pool=
German Manpower in pool=
Manpower Pts over run during 1942 =
Russian Units Destroyed during 1942 =
Russian losses this turn: 133,000 Total dead: 2,370,000
Russian OOB: 4,522,000
A net gain of: 12,000 men
Russian units currently in a pocket: 50
GHC OOB: 3,416,000
GHC net OOB change: -16,000

AGN: Basicly setting up a prisoner of war camp in Leningrad. SHC has done a good job airlifting supplys in. Looks like 21 units of which 17-18 are ground units. I will destory units after october so I will start the AP crunch early.

So far I have about 50 units in the bag. Most are rifle divisions which are 10 AP each to build I beleive or about 16 rifle Corp if merged. That will help nerf the blizzard a little and 42 summer defences. Hopefully I can bag some more before the blizzard.

AGC: I get another small pocket in center. Looks like 30 ground units in the 2 pockets. Again I will wait until after October to clear pockets

Whats that 700 AP to rebuild 70 rifle divisions?

Fishbed -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/11/2012 5:26:29 PM)

Pelton, even though I am a big fan of your AARs, can't say I am in love with this one's new title... :-/
Just so you know, cuz I fear I may not be the only one a little bit disturbed by the fact that an Axis player is talking about "his" death camps. Sorry to be such a bother :(

Klydon -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/12/2012 4:45:23 PM)

700 AP off the table is going to hurt and will also be a further crunch on the Russians in that he is going to have fewer counters to play with over the winter and into the early spring, even if he starts replacing them.

Savanniperkele -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/12/2012 8:37:27 PM)

It seems that Pelton is here bragging with 10 straight wins in '41 even if he dropped out from our game well before winter and even refused to respond any of my emails.

Not very sportsmanlike if you ask me.

Farfarer -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/14/2012 3:49:19 AM)

Yeah, one should always respond, but moving on, aside from the very poor choice of terms, the souuround and not force surrender tactic is excellent, one I always try with population centres to creattruly permanent population loss.

11 more rifle divisions were destroyed this turn.

AGN: Leningrad holds on for another turn. Looks like GHC will have to wait until the river freezes before trying to assault across the river. I Corp has been moved into 4 PZ Corp for the remainder of the War.

Bobo army is average for this time of year 5 million, unlike Hughs 6 million heheh

I might have to just sit and wait and take Leningrad in the spring. The up side is most of the population will be dead heheh

Leningrad front, looks like Leningrad will hold out. AGN has strong defences and does not look to be a large forse of SHC at the front or just behind it.

Pelton -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/25/2012 2:36:28 PM)

Moscow GHc will try and hold out for as long as possible, but there are allot of SHC forses in area.

Pelton -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/25/2012 2:37:17 PM)

South center GHC will just retreat the standard 1 to 2 hexes a turn.

Pelton -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/25/2012 2:39:29 PM)

Crimea area GHC will hold land bridges with MT divisions.

GHC will try and hold front at Stalino area. It would not be a bad thing to lose it because it can be easly taken back during snow for a double manpower hit.

AGN: Fins holding NP 16th pulls back some more as they have land to give. Doesnot look like SHC we come close to releaving leningrad. Area is bad for a SHC push as there is limited rail. 9th and 18th army keep with drawing a few hexes per turn.

Pelton -> RE: Pelton vs 821Bobo 1.06 (8/26/2012 7:12:30 PM)

AGS: Some pressure in some areas as SHC appears to be using atleast 2 Armys full of Cav Corps.

The key to Blizzard is keeping loses under 10 divisions. You have to know when to say screw it that division is toast and not throw good money after bad. I am more then willing to throw away a panzer unit to save several infantry units.
